Troubleshooting Workflow Boards
Fix common setup and daily-use issues in Workflow Boards.
Use this page when a board, task, backlog, sprint, or hierarchy action does not behave as expected.
Add Task Is Disabled
Check whether the board has at least one allowed task type. Planning boards should allow planning task types, and executable boards should allow executable task types.
Backlog Task Is Not Visible
Confirm the task status is Backlogs and that the task matches the board query, project, area, and sprint rules.
Task Move Is Not Allowed
The workflow may not allow the selected transition. Review the workflow transitions or move the task through an allowed status path.
Cannot Add Child Task
Check whether the current task type allows the selected child task type in the hierarchy settings.
Cannot Start Sprint
Another sprint may already be active. Complete the active sprint before starting a new one.
User Is Not Visible In Assignee Search
Check whether the user belongs to the selected tenant, organization, and workspace access context.
